In the eve of the closing of the 54th Belgrade International Book Fair, the Ambassador of Greece to Belgrade, Dimostenis Stoidis, ceremonially handed over the Open Book to the Ambassador of Sweden, which will be the country guest of honor of the Book Fair in Belgrade in 2010, Nils Krister Bringeus.

| By this act, Sweden has initiated preparations for the role of the country guest of honor. This implies a series of activities that will contribute to the promotion of contemporary literature and presentation of the entire culture of Sweden at the next 55th Belgrade International Book Fair. | |
