Gabriela Muzeti
Gabriela Muzeti, born in Genoa, has been living in Trieste for many years now. She studied philosophy at the University of Genoa.
She writes poems, short stories, and review studies. Her reviews and criticisms have been published in various magazines. She was also the chief editor of numerous books, including Creativity of Poetic Work Analysis (1994), Within Writing (1997), Women on the Boundary I-II (2006-2007), Transboundaries. Boundaries, Passages and Crossings in Women Literature (2008). She is preoccupied with writing for schools and writing for women.
The poems of Gabriela Muzeti have been published in various reviews and anthologies.
Her first book was a collection of poems After all, I Am Also a Woman (1992). Her other collections of poems include: Separations (2002), My Dears (2002), Time Remains Distorted (2005), Whose Duty It Is (2007).
Gabriela Muzeti is the Vice-President of the Italian Society of Lady Writers, the Editor-in-Chief of literary magazine Almanacco del Ramo d'Oro. She organizes Poetry Meetings in Trieste on annual basis.
